The Chianti Classico of Poggerino comes from various vineyards at 400-500 m altitude. It is made exclusively from the Sangiovese grape. The wine stays for 12 m partly in 20hl (60%) and tonneau (40%) botte, then follows an aging in bottle for several months. This Chianti Classico from the cooler year 2014 is a classic Chianti characterized by pure red fruit, fresh acids and firm but supple tannins. A wine with a lot of storage potential! Combine with pasta or red meat.
