Orlando Abrigo’s 2020 Barbera d’Alba Superiore Mervisano comes from a selection of old vineyard plots in Roreto, in the municipality of Trezzo Tinella and in the municipality of Neviglie. The vineyards were planted in 1965. This Barbera matures for 12 to 15 months in tonneau (600l) of which 40% are new. The colour is intense cherry red. In the nose, we detect aromas of cherries, spices and a hint of terroir. The Mervisano is a full, juicy Barbera with a very long finish. Top seller.
