Valle dell’Acate’s Il Frappato comes from a Frappato vineyard on black soil covered with white cobbles. The grapes are harvested in mid-September. After six months on inox and three months of bottle aging, it enters the market. The wine has a bright ruby colour and aromas of cherries, strawberries and white pepper. It is a lighter, fruity wine with juicy tannins and a fresh, pleasant finish. warm and elegant wine with powerful but pleasant tannins. It is a versatile wine that can be served widely, chilled with tuna, swordfish, sushi, sashimi and further with antipasti, salami, aged cheeses.
