La Torretta’s 2013 Ghemme Riserva Vigna Torrazza comes from the 50-year-old vineyard of the same name. It is a firm red wine with lots of fruit, earthy notes, spiciness and mushrooms in the nose. The wine has matured for 48 months in oak barrels. It shows a slight evolutionary edge in the glass. In the mouth full, ripe fruitiness with great freshness and juicy tannins. A real pleasure to drink already now but it will also provide plenty of drinking pleasure in the years to come. Combine with meat dishes, game, truffle.
