Cerasuolo di Vittoria 2020 Vigna Biddine Soprana from Valle dell’Acate is an organic red wine with the DOCG classification, the highest in Sicily. It is made from 60% Nero d’Avola and 40% Frappato grapes, grown on the Biddine Soprana plateau, 200 metres above sea level. It is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, aromas of red fruits, ripe cherries and hints of spices such as vanilla, liquorice and cocoa. It has a soft, full-bodied taste with velvety tannins, a long finish and aromatic complexity. It goes well with Ragusano DOP cheese, spicy dishes, chicken curry, game pate, lamb and rabbit.
