The Metiusco Anniversario 2023, formerly known as Mavro, is a worthy successor to its predecessor. The wine matured for 12 months in oak barrels (50 % new, 50 % second passage), adding extra layers of complexity and refinement.

On the nose, it reveals a rich bouquet of black fruit, floral notes, and spices, subtly interwoven with hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is a juicy, vibrant wine with plenty of spice and a refreshing freshness that keeps it well balanced and elegant. The structure is powerful yet harmonious.

A wine with character and length, already highly enjoyable but with potential to develop further with a few years of cellaring. In short: a superb wine that beautifully combines tradition and modernity.
