Antonio Galloni of wine website Vinous recently tasted the new vintages of Giovanni Almondo‘s wines and awarded them only outstanding scores. For example, he gave 90 points out of 100 to the Roero Arneis Vigne Sparse 2021 and Barbera d’Alba Valbianchera 2020. He awarded 92 out of 100 to the Roero Arneis Bricco delle Ciliegie 2021 and the top score of 93 out of 100 was for the Roero Bric Valdiana 2019 and the Roero Arneis Le Rive del Bricco delle Ciliegie 2020. The latter white wine was also previously awarded Gambero Rosso’s Tre Bicchieri.
